Created in 1993, the CTA is a college center for technology transfer (CCTT) affiliated with cegep Édouard-Montpetit and located on the campus of École nationale d'aérotechnique (ENA). Its mission is to support the aerospace industry to make it more competitive. Each year, with a budget of $ 4.5 million, the CTA carries out more than 200 projects.

In recent years, the industrial activities of CTA have been in constant progression thanks to its team of more than 60 specialists. The Center is recognized today for its complementarity with the various players in research and technology transfer in the aeronautical sector.

The non-profit organization is incorporated under Part III of the Companies Act of Quebec and is managed by a board of directors.
